2018 Maserati Quattroporte GTS has been launched in India with two variants namely GranLusso and GranSport. There is hardly any difference in internal engines of both the variants. Aesthetically it is a gorgeous looking car with premium fluidic design and feel. The raw engine power under hood has been commendable which attributes this car to be a super smooth machine.
Maserati Quattroporte GTS Specs
GranLusso is equipped with a small front spoiler, chrome-finished inserts, body coloured side skirts, black brake callipers and 20-inch alloy wheels. On the other hand, GranSport comes with aero splitters on lower section, central spoiler and piano-black finished side skirts. An optional Carbon Package is also present which includes the wing mirrors, door handles, B-pillars and the sides of the front bumper in a carbon finish.
In the interior part, Quattroporte GTS comes with an 8.4 inch touchscreen infotainment display which is mounted in the centre of dashboard. Two audio options are available to choose from viz. Harman Kardon system with a 10 speaker-setup, Bowers & Wilkins Surround sound with a 15 speaker setup.
The car remains unchanged under the hood. It is powered by a 3.8 L twin-turbo V8 engine that pushes out 530 Hp at 6500-6800 rpm with a peak torque of 710 nm at 2250-3500 rpm. The engine is accompanied by an 8-speed automatic transmission system.
Expected price of Maserati Quattroporte GTS is around 2.7 crore approx.
Maserati Quattroporte GTS will compete with Porshe’s Panamera turbo which is priced at 1.9 crore Indian Rupees.
