What’s New in Ford Ecosport facelift 2017?
The new EcoSport has a new hexagonal grille and sharp, angular headlamps. They have also redesigned front bumper and fog lamps. When it comes to interiors, the centre console has got a new layout with a large touch screen infotainment system, but the design of the dash remains almost the same. Everything has been redesigned including the instrument cluster and steering wheel.
The cabin too gets body-colored inserts. Besides the new touch screen infotainment system, it will also have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The all new Dragon series will have 1.5 litre petrol engines, three cylinder units that’ll be 120hp. In the lower variants, a 1.2 litre, three cylinders motor will be there. Leaving aside these, the other engine options will have the same 100hp, 1.5 litre diesel engine and probably the 1.0 litre Ecoboost petrol also.
The redesigned EcoSport is expected to get cruise control, rear-view camera, automatic climate control and also a speed limiter function. With the new facelift, it is expected to give tough competition to Maruti Brezza and the upcoming Tata Nexon.
