MG (Morris Garages), the British sports car manufacturer is launching its first ever car in India in June 2019. With a limited dealership of 100 in India, it has plans to launch MG Hector in the lines of Baojun 530 SUV which was launched in China. Furthermore, with a powerful 2.0-liter engine, the vehicle is likely to offer stiff competition in the Indian market. Its rivals are Jeep Compass and Tata Harrier. However, with the official entry into the Indian market, the company is expected to enhance its numbers. Initially, MG Hector will be available as a 5-seater vehicle. It can be configured for a 7-seater position as well.
